Decrypt firmware images
Download Odysseus v0.999 from https://dayt0n.github.io/odysseus/odysseus-0.999.zip, check SHA1 for integrity then extract the .zip to get xpwntools. To use Apple's iOS low-level firmware image from a kloader boot, we must have decrypted files. In order to get decrypted images, use decryption keys from TheiPhoneWiki. Select your device, then the firmware you want to install as a secondary OS. Be careful to get keys from the right build number as your downloaded ipsw file.Use xpwntools to decrypt the firmware images. From a terminal, go to the "Stock" folder.
pmbonneau-mac#xpwntool [encrypted .img3 file] [decrypted output .img3 file] -iv [IV] -k [KEY] -decrypt
The decrypt flag is very important, because it keeps the .img3 container. If this flag is not used, you will end up with the data portion only (necessary for disassembly).
Use the previous command to decrypt the following .img3 files from the "Stock" folder.
